If today is any indication, this is going to be an incredibly long weekend. Work denied my request for time off on Christmas. If I’m lucky they will let people go home early Christmas day. Just sucks that u have to be here that day.

Woo hoo! I have one less thing to worry about on New Years Eve. A coworker just picked up my shift for the day. Now I can go to my cousin’s wedding and still go to a friend’s party that night. Now I just need to find out what I’m working on New Year Day so I can figure out how little sleep I’ll get that night.

Since I’m stressing over possible layoffs I just checked the seniority list for my workgroup. They would have to layoff more than 60% of the workforce to get to me. That is of course assuming any possible layoffs are done by seniority. That makes me stress out a little less. Still stressed though…

I hope no one named Warren crosses my path today, because I’m on a skinning someone alive kind of mood today.

Now that I’ve found out that all training classes for next year have been put on hold I have conflicting emotions. The first one is I’m pissed because I was really looking forward to having weekends off. The second, and probably more important one, is I’m worried that this might mean layoffs.
