Wiki Dependency of the Day: Katie Notopoulos is using her Twitter account to catalog the complaints emanating from Millennials worried about how the Great Wikipedia Blackout of 2012 is going to affect their school projects.
Back when I had to write a paper for class there was this building called a library that I would visit. Sure I had to walk up hill 2 miles both ways in the snow to get there. I had to dig through something called a card catalog, make the appropriate offerings to FSM to help make sure the book I needed would be there, and then I would have to read from a physical book to get the information I needed for my paper. Maybe these kids that are worried about Wikipedia going black in protest of SOPA should rediscover the joys of visiting the library. If nothing else the information will probably be more accurate than some of the things I’ve seen on Wikipedia.
